Additional Services
Heavy items, especially those that cannot be carried or moved easily, can cause damage and injuries, especially when shipping. Each box weighing 50lbs/23kg or more is subject to a $25 charge.
Late Payment / Declined Card$45
Please make sure your card on your account is current when extending storage. We will store your items temporarily while you update your payment information.
Special Handling / Defrost fridge$50
Water and moisture from non-defrosted fridges can cause water damage, mold, and bacteria. If we are informed, we can defrost for $50, but suggest that you unplug, thaw, clean, and dry your fridge before pickup. If you tape up your fridge and it’s not defrosted, prepare for one of the worst smells of your life.
Last Minute Cancellation$75
$75 charge when canceling appointment within 48 hours.
Missed Appointment$90
A $90 missed appointment charge applies if you or your proxy isn’t available during your pickup or delivery time.
Additional Coverage – $100$3
We provide $100 worth of valuation per shipped or stored item. We strongly recommend the purchase of additional valuation in cases where the replacement value of your possessions exceeds $100 per package. Additional valuation can be purchased by indicating the desired amount of declared value when you enter the item on your inventory form online.
Boxing / Reboxing$20 per box
For unboxed items currently in storage (that fit in a box) and need to be shipped, we provide boxing services. We also provide a reboxing service for boxes that are shipped to our storage locations in poor condition and aren’t in good enough condition to be delivered. Reboxing is FREE if our Signature Collegebox was used to ship items.
